Fits Apple for sure
Authored by: Anonymous on Thursday, April 11 2013 @ 03:18 PM EDT

Obstreperous:

    Noisy and difficult to control
Although the UK Court seems to have managed a certain level of control over Apples noisiness.

Cantankerous:

    Bad-tempered, argumentative, and uncooperative
Yup... fits Apples behavior to a T!

Apple to Court:

No, we will not comply with your decision if you're decision is that the licensing fee should be more then $1 per device!

Judge says Apple, Motorola pursuing business strategy in court
Authored by: webster on Friday, April 12 2013 @ 08:25 AM EDT
.

Someone should tell Judge Lucy [Koh] [and Judge Judy] about what Judge Robert
[Scola] said and did.

The scrutiny of corporate influence campaigns and litigation and what they fight
with [patents] exposes the world and its governments as a field of exploitation
and gaming for the wealthy [corporations and owners].

People that have millions shouldn't be allowed to go to court or get patents.
They can hire their own agencies. Some would accurately argue, "They
already have; that is what government is." Our Supreme Court agrees with
that.

Some day a judge will say "The equities of law and fact are in balance.
Therefore a flip of the coin would not be an abuse of discretion."

.

I wish more judges would. On balance, litigants increasingly seem to be trolls
or dinosaurs trying to prop up a failing business. That's not what the courts
are for.
