How can Microsoft sell/distribute software to North Korea, without facing
criminal charges?

Especially since US law clearly prohibts providing aid and comfort to the
enemy?

I was away on vacation this past week and while I watching TV in the hotel before flying home there was lot's of talk about Microsoft being downgraded by several analysts.
