But you are trying to use your passion to convince us of
something. Communication is what you need to use. It is much
harder, but much more effective.
When people object to your statements in droves, then you
know that you are not communicating and you can adjust your
explanations accordingly.
Or perhaps you are just a troll. I can't really tell either
way. The results are the same. Trolls ignore facts, don't
make themselves clear, keep trying to confuse the issue and
don't read others' comments if it conflicts with what they
think they are trying to say. I hope that you are not just
trolling.
Slow down and stick with us.

PJ is very biased and reads everything through biased glasses.
You are correct. The quoted text clearly does not say what PJ said it said.
That said. I do think the quoted statement is incorrect. Software is not all
about across platforms. Some software is (stuff written in Java for example) but
not all software is.
Software Patents (which don't really exist). Method claims exist. And those
are most likely written to be machine independent. They are methods after all
and quite often the tools used to perform the method can be of little
consequence or not relevant to the invented method. Of course, other times, the
tool is important.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
