I thought the same thing about WFW 3.11 (the first version of Windows I ever
used). I take it from this that, rather than being an incurable nerd, I'm just
16 years ahead of my time. :o)

And yet, the apologists are out in force claiming that if you don't like Windows
8, it's you who has the problem. Because you simply hate change.
I'd quote a percent, but I'm not sure how much of the market actually hate
Windows 8, and I'm sure the apologists would jump on it if it turned out I was
wrong, but signs are a majority of the market hate Windows 8. Is it just them?[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

It's not so easy to simply move for all users...
But as usual, they just keep saying "everyone hates Windows 8" without
going into why more. Most articles bring up things like, "Metro looks
disorganized" instead of actual problems, like the certificate hell that
the Surface tablets must face to be useful that do not affect iPads or Android
