They need look no further than the Commonwealth of Massachusetts...

Senator Pacheco and Secretary Galvin's office remain very heavily influenced by the Microsoft money [ยทยทยท], in my opinion.

U.S. Said to Look Into Microsoft Bribery Allegations
Authored by: N_au on Wednesday, March 20 2013 @ 12:45 AM EDT
I read one report with the headline: "Microsoft backs review of bribery
allegations". Yes they will find and blame some poor sod who will lose his
job. He will most likely be paid off so as not to say that the command to do it
came from the top.

This won't go far.
The gov has more than enough stuff on M$'s behaviour to have
shut them down years ago. Hasn't happend yet, won't happen
now. The gov depends on M$ to provide easily spied on
software. If M$ has to bribe a few, so be it.

The first report I saw on it was the WSJ, and I thought it interesting timing
since WSJ is currently fending off similar accusations.

I see this law as the height of hypocrisy. Who will be investigating the bribes
that our government officials have accepted, AKA campaign donations?
