I take it you didn't click on the "a distro
that just tries
to keep things simple." link in my last post. That or
you
dont know a lot about Archlinux. A newly installed Arch
system presents the
user with a command prompt. The user
then builds the system as they see fit.
But like I also said
in that post the mplayer software is available for most if
not all
distros.
Thanks for pointing out that software to view the file
(VLC)
is also available for the Mac. As I posted in another post.
A false premise
should
never be used to prove a point. So now that we know its
possible to
view the file on the Mac its not valid to use
the file extension to prove that
people are locked out
because of the type of file. People just need to have the
