If we don't do this, we must stop debating all of it and stop complaining about
patent law suits. Just ranting on our own is futile.
There are a lot of judges with good math abilities and some like Judge Alsup
with programming knowledge and skills. They might not get all the issues, but
getting any one is, in fact, the path to getting the rest.

If they do want to follow the wishes of big business, they would hopefully start
by asking him whether he did actually say what is quoted, and what he meant by
it. That one answer alone should be enough to justify getting rid of all

I am not suggesting that a response should not be written, but I too believe it
will fall on deaf ears. Accepting the submission would mean conceding that the
courts and patent office have spent decades stuffing up the industry. It would
take an enormous amount of integrity to admit this and change direction -
