Interesting twist on the subject
Authored by: Wol on Monday, March 11 2013 @ 04:03 PM EDT
What I would like to see is a speed limit sign ON THE CAMERA.

The number of motorists who see a camera in a 50 limit, and don't know what the
limit is, so they slam their brakes on to drop to 30 ... if that isn't a serious
danger I don't know what is!

There's a fair bit of evidence that cameras CAUSE accidents if they're not
properly thought through.

And while it's tragic, another very effective accident preventer is flowers by
the side of the road ... on a dangerous stretch of road they should be left ...

Cheers,
Wol

That could significantly decrease the volume of speeding tickets handed out...

Oh, no, no, no. Can't have that. Those tickets are a valued revenue stream.
