MS are a monopoly. Nothing wrong with that.
They acquired that monopoly by deliberately targeting competitors. EVERYTHING
wrong with that.
They sold DOS cheaply *on* *condition* that OEMs offered no choice to the
customer. They sold Windows for "less than nothing" on the same
terms.
They put code into Windows that was *deliberately* *intended* to crash
WordPerfect (not proven in court, but certainly proven to my satisfaction). They
did the same thing to Netscape and that *was* proven in court.
The story goes on and on. America has a long history of such business practice,
unfortunately. And doubt MS has stopped with my list of examples ...
