I'm not sure they'd classify "almost no corruption" as a benefit to

I seem to recall Microsoft pulled a similar scam on the USA
by reporting revenues in Ireland rather than the US. This
was after Microsoft extracted a huge tax break from Ireland.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

Perhaps there should be a tougher EU stand on member countries
understanding the purpose of taxes and constructing a community
wide tax regime that multinationals will want to comply with.

They do the same thing within the US. I believe they channel all the US income
through Nevada. Washington state is looking into this. Corporations unlike
people don't care where they live and will move to the cheaper tax district, or
the one with more favorable legal statues, hence Delware.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
