Lots of cheese
Authored by: ailuromancy on Wednesday, March 06 2013 @ 11:54 AM EST

In one holiday job I had as a student, I got through 11 tons of cheese per day. $1 notes are a bit impractical. I can imagine the fine in $20 bills as the weight of cheese blocks I could scrape the mold off in three days.

Just slightly (about $250 million) less than the Hogan jury
award for Apple.

Easy explanation for Ballmer
Authored by: Anonymous on Wednesday, March 06 2013 @ 04:27 PM EST

Board of Directors: Yes, we paid $731 million dollars. However, for our... err... mistake.... we didn't have to provide the browser option for a period of 14 months - that means a lot of customers got roped back in to IE and didn't have an easy way to change that.
This next part I assume is currently missing from the correction:
We also don't have to make up that lost time - so we, in effect, didn't have to conform to almost 25% of the time we originally agreed to. We paid $700 million so we could act anti-competitively still!
