complicated issues with lots of grays
Authored by: mcinsand on Monday, March 04 2013 @ 04:53 PM EST
With The Register, I have found support for what they present on the occasions I
have checked, the information was just more fun to read. One reason I like
reading The Register on some complicated, controversial issues, if not
the reason, is that The Register seems to stay unattached to
either side. That is one reason I mentioned Climate Change as an example. The
two sides that we hear as the most vocal are often as fanatical as they are
diametrically-opposed, and questioning is not met with a welcoming tone. This
is a very complicated issue and it is at the cutting edge of science. New facts
and ideas will surface every day. So, for a healthy discussion, there will need
to be a constant influx of new articles to explore new discoveries.

As for my personal beliefs, I think that we need to cut pollution, period, no
matter where current theories lie.
