Probably not. Lack of jurisdiction (in the UK).
Mind you, if he sued under German rules, I gather they are even stronger! Under
certain circumstances, under German law, truth is no defence!
Some magazine (Bild? Stern?) got badly done. They were going to run a scandalous
scoop about a 20-year-old incident. And they got crucified in court. Their facts
about the incident were 100% correct with one minor flaw. They claimed a
cover-up.
The Judge pointed out that the story had, in fact, been covered in the press at
the time and was out there for anyone who wanted to check up. The only plausible
explanation he could find for the new story was muck-raking. And they paid
heavily for it.
If Sir Robin sued FM in Germany with this case as precedent, he might make out
nicely ... :-)
Cheers,

But I found FM's tone in that article seriously turned down from his usual
tone.
If that's true, given how forcefully applied the UK Court made sure
Apple complied with their original order:
I suspect he's leary about such a
claim and is facing the reality the UK Court would likely support
it
