UK Judge Who Chastised Apple Over Samsung 'Apology' Now Consulting as Patent Expert for Samsung
Authored by: Wol on Thursday, February 28 2013 @ 02:23 PM EST
Bearing in mind Sir Robin was on a *panel* of Judges, the other two could have
over-ruled him in the appeal.

(I was puzzled by the article, because I didn't think Sir Robin presided over
the case. He didn't.)

Bear in mind also, he is an appeals Judge. There aren't that many of them. If
he's an expert well that's probably why he's an Appeal Court Judge!

Cheers,
Wol

Perhaps Sir Robin Jacob should hire out to Apple as a consultant.

I wonder how FM would present that situation.

Caveat: Unless Apple started behaving at a higher level of ethics, I doubt Sir Robin Jacob would agree to work with Apple. There'll be too much conflict with regards what's appropriate and what's not. But it would be highly amusing to see FM's response.

He retired from the Court of Appeal in March 2011.
