Yes, I've heard some rather sailor-like language, but that does not mean I don't
care about hearing it. I don't want to hear or see it IF I can help it.
I even have a Greasemonkey script that filters out most swear words on webpages
on-the-fly, because it seems like it's almost impossible to read forums or even
blogs without 10 swear words being present. It's not that I'm "scared"
or "super-sensitive," I'm just discerning about what I read. I chose
not to read swear words if I can help it, because I know if I am exposed to them
too much, I might start using them by mistake. I don't want that to happen.
I like Linus, but I usually don't read his writings because of the language
issue. I don't even have to read the article or see the comment that started
this discussion to know that I don't want to read it. Nothing against him, just
