Why Europe is falling behind America on broadband - Gigacomm viewpoint vs. ...
Authored by: Wol on Wednesday, February 27 2013 @ 02:14 PM EST
There's 8 pints to a gallon. The US pint is 16floz. The imperial pint is
20floz.

So the imperial pint is 32floz more. 160 - 96 is 64floz. Something's wrong
here.

I think the US gallon is 122floz. Anyways, the Imperial gallon is 25% more than
the US.

Cheers,
Wol

The US gallon is 96 fluid ounces
Gee, I remember when a US gallon was 128 ounces. Did miss the memo?

I can't be too surprised, though. I also remember when a three-pound tin of coffee had 48 ounces. I just checked the cupboard: the latest three-pound tin contains 29 ounces. The one before that had 31.5, and before that, 33 ounces.
