"The size of the fine could be significant because this is the second time
that Microsoft has failed to comply with an EU order."
Fine by me. ;-)

up comes that same ad, over and over and over
That's
the prime reason I completely dropped watching tv.
I still "watch tv" but
in the sense that I buy tv series on dvd and watch those.
The tv network
may be raking in the big bucks by selling exclusive add spots (so the audience
watches the same add over and over) but if people completely drop their
subscriptions - what's the cost in the long run?
I guess that depends on
how many people won't drop the services.

Newspick
“Everybody said
music was going to die, but we said music will not die — it will
grow.”
Well, they got that part right.
“What we
initially envisioned for BMG was an integrated rights company based on
nontraditional models,” he said.
“The old world was about complex distribution
structures. Now you can license multiple users and distributors. The key is not
infrastructure but how good are you at monetizing and accounting for those
rights.”
Aah, it's not about the music after all :([ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
