Especially given that this is not a single unique case in the
legal system, that patent infringement lawsuits are
exploding, more and more (and more) every day. These
poor guys must be swamped. No wonder we're seeing a bit
of testiness on occasion; I'd likely have told them to go take
their silly claims, settle them, and get out of my hair.

Which is one reason it's probably a good thing I'm not a
judge.

Hourly Costs = Ouch

You can bet the Lawyers are being billed > $500 per hour.

62 * 500 = $31,000 per hour. Just for the Lawyers to show up.

$186,000 just for all of them to put in a 6 hour day.

$930,000 for a single 5 day work week.

Oracle certainly doesn't mind spending the money.
