I was on the purchasing end for Apple h/w & s/w for about
twenty years in New Zealand. It was my experience that if
the quantity was sufficient, Apple were willing to talk a deal.
But all physical stock came from somewhere -> Singapore
-> Australia -> NZ. The recent arrival of parallel importers
has not improved delivery. Except for a few special promos
we remain first in the world to see the sun, last in the world
to get Apple toys. Of course those with a clue now have the
chance to get a fairer price at the parallel importers.

Would it be cheaper to buy from the US and ship to Oz?
<sarcasm>Does Apple only sell right hand drive Macs
there?</sarcasm>
In Canada Jeep will not honour US bought Jeep warranties, and the US will not
honour Canadian bought Jeep warranties.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
