If adding the presence of a computer converts an otherwise unpatentable
invention into a patentable invention, does adding the presence of a computer
convert a patentable invention into an entirely new and different patentable
invention?
What if I then add the presence of another
computer?

"when, if ever, does the presence of a computer in a claim lend patent
eligibility to an otherwise patent-ineligible idea?" If Webster's
prediction about a split judgement comes true then I think CLS will have every
reason to ask the Supremes to review and have this question specifically
asked. This may well the the critical moment we've been waiting for. [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
