Classic misdirection
Authored by: Anonymous on Sunday, February 10 2013 @ 09:19 AM EST
The greedy, who are in charge of this country at the moment
if you haven't noticed, do not give a rip about information
and it's dissemination unless it gets them more money. And
their definition of the economy is "more money for them"
and the definition of national security has become "keeping
that way". The days of putting the well being of citizens
first over everything else are long gone.

Consider the US military. Not the generals etc, but the
actual enlisted grunts and sailors. These are the people
who actually give up their freedoms while they serve, die
in the line of duty, and forsake their families (who incidentally many are on
food stamps) for their country,
just so ALL in the US can continue living their own life
styles, including the poor, the homeless, and the wealthy.
What do they get in return? Not anything even close to what
they deserve. For all the money that the government
literally hands out to those who need it the least, the
enlisted service people and their families need it much
more. I'm not talking about general welfare for the public
here, but corporate welfare.

This is just one example of a symtom that all together says
that the US has lost it's way.
