Not patentable?
Authored by: Anonymous on Saturday, February 09 2013 @ 10:13 AM EST
Two (fatal) problems as far as I can see:-

It's a business method that has been around for generations. Computerizing it
does not make it patentable. Plus it's been done already in many places around
the world.

Subscriptions via internet to various media services, food stuffs, prescription
medicines (both human and veterinary), dietary supplements etc. have been
available for many years with the ability to control timing. What's with these
guys; do the live on the same planet as the rest of us?

if one is not skilled in the art, then
how to now what "no milk" means:
- no milk (left) --> we would like to buy some
- no milk (needed) --> we do not like to buy some

Amazon patents the milkman

There is a dairy in greater Salt Lake City that offers daily delivery of cheese, milk, eggs, and other dairy products. A different organization offers daily delivery of bread, and other items from a bakery. Another organization offers biweekly delivery of fruit, vegetables, and nuts.

The only thing missing is home delivery from a butcher shop, and a fishmonger. I'm not sure I'd want to eat fish in Salt Lake City, though.

How about the Ice Sign? 8 different meanings depending on
which side faces the window and which edge is up.
