Storage costs?
Authored by: Anonymous on Monday, February 04 2013 @ 05:06 PM EST
Is it possible that these "storage spaces" are not actually at some
commercial establishments, such as, for example, Public Storage, but rather in
someone's garage? Darl's garage comes to mind. (At the moment, his last name
has slipped my mind.)

SCO Asks the Bankruptcy Court to Let It Destroy Its Business Records ~ pj
Authored by: tanner andrews on Wednesday, February 06 2013 @ 11:00 AM EST

The amount of money can add up, and remember that the trustee needs to get paid from the same ever-diminishing pool.

I cannot speak for storage unit costs in Utah; they may well be cheaper because land there is fairly abundant and demand fairly low. Here, however, you can easily spend from $70.00 per month up to a few hundred, depending on the size of the unit. They have three.

I could see where IBM and Red Hat might want access to the records, at least for impeachment following depositions. In their positions, I'd probably want to prepare a jury instruction on spoliation, just in case.

I am assuming that they are aware of this effort in the BK court and will file appropriate objections, but those are not my files and there may be reasons not to file anything.
