After patenting the rectangle, Apple now trademarks the store

Trademark protection did not stop Samsung from making t his commercial. That commercial doesn't suggest that there could possibly be anything wrong with Intellectual Property.

After patenting the rectangle, Apple now trademarks the store

I used to frequent a clearance book store that had tables arranged in that
manner. I guess the threat from Apple is what drove them out of business a few
years ago. ;-)

You should really read all the documents related to this trademark

It's quite informative. Apple was told to make a lot of the lines dotted as
things like the storefront, store shape, furniture, shelving.

Apple's trademark in the Apple store is really quite limited. You'd have to be a
very close copycat to face violating it. Not to mention you'd have to be selling
the same types of merchandise, as that is part of the trademark.

I could open a bookstore with the same exact design and be free and clear. But
part of the trademark is the tile floor, outside the store!?
