Yeah mayby, but this will stick to her.
From now on she will be known as the judge that didn't correct a 'corrupted'
(mind the quotes) jury and smeared the US judicial system as being prejudiced to
'foreigners'...
I'm not sure if I wanted to be known like that...
And yes I know, there's a lot more detail to every decision she made but that's

When this mess comes back to her, she will recuse herself.
If she grants a new trial, I suspect it would be strange for her to recuse
herself. But if the appeals court overturns her rulings, she can recuse herself
to avoid any appearance of bias. I think this is basically the preferred escape
