I fully expect both Samsung and Apple to file their notices
of appeal within the deadlines mandated by the Federal Rules
of Appellate Procedure (Rule 4), and that they will file
their briefs within the scheduling parameters as dictated by
the rules unless otherwise ordered by the court; doing
otherwise would be malpractice.

So, no, they won't be taking their time.
