Can't blame them
Authored by: Anonymous on Tuesday, January 29 2013 @ 05:48 AM EST
I wouldn't blame the kids for not being interested (if they arn't) in any
products that might put their future capital at risk.
On the other hand if they view apple and linux as their enemies, then maybe it
would be better to keep them close (closer then their friends, as the saying
goes)
Also they maybe indoctrinated by the windows theme, on the other hand if kids
start rebelling to be free from parents and irritating EULA's, well ....

Bill Gates: My kids have never asked for Apple products
Authored by: Anonymous on Tuesday, January 29 2013 @ 11:18 AM EST
They can go download Linux themselves, they don't need to
ask, if they can turn on the computer, and use software (burn
dvd or make a USB key).

Probably on a USB key, that they plug in to keep their
browser history private.

Bill Gates: My kids have never asked for Apple products
Authored by: PJ on Tuesday, January 29 2013 @ 02:03 PM EST
I thought of that, but when mum spoke to the
press about it, it was a headline story. Does he
not read either? Does she not mention something
like that to him? If so, what a totally stange
family that would be.

Confusing Gates with Ballmer

You are confusing Bill Gates with Steve Ballmer. Gates
kids can *ask*, no problem.

Ballmer's .... well, better ask outdoors where there are
no chairs around.
