Why not fired? You have to look behind the curtain and
understand that a certain company with all it's money, has
it invested all over the place. Maybe holding board spots
by proxy, in who knows what companies?
You know about the influence in the ISO standards process!
I don't need to say more... support from the folks that
could be by proxy "stacked" on the various technical groups.
You don't think that Elop going to Nokia wasn't pre-
arranged? Could it have been the play all along, and the
game plan still hasn't changed?
That is a good question to ask. It's a long haul strategy,
and whoever has the votes in the board rooms wins.
Yep. That simple. Shareholders are often disorganized
enough to miss the real action that is going on with the big
money investors and who pulls their strings, and via
proxies, tickles their wallets.
We know how many "tech financial writers" are pulling for a
certain company for so long..., and against their
competition. And, you don't think that a company will bet
all it's options or eggs to one basket do you?

One might think he's
deliberately trashing
the
company.
I don't think it is anything so
nefarious. He was
just deluded.
Also, a useless board.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
