Android is Essentially an Android Distro!
Authored by: Anonymous on Tuesday, January 29 2013 @ 03:28 AM EST
Microsoft could go after Google, since it uses the full Linux kernel w/ most of
it's services and frameworks integrated into it. Including Touchscreen
framework, Display, etc!

But here's the reality to Microsoft's threats. In reality... they know Linux is
Open Source. The code is publicly available for examination. If Microsoft had
proof, they would have taken Linus to task well before this. If they actually
had proof... they should of sued IBM directly instead of using SCO as a patsy.

Why don't they sue Google? Well Google just slapped Oracle and sent rolling
right out of the courtroom. Where's that appeal?

The REALITY is that Microsoft knows they've been pillaging and pilfering
programs and code from the Open Source Community at large for years. The first
thing that would happen, would be a countersuit and it would be Microsoft forced
to put their source code on the line. How many ghosts and thievery of Linux is
hidden deep in Microsoft's soft underbelly? A ton... and that's why Microsoft
will never sue any Linux Distro including ANDROID!

And if you really think about it, if Android was actually counted for what it
is.... a Linux Distro... for mobiles, Linux would actually have 20% greater
market share than Windows Everything put together! and I think even Microsoft
is aware of that!!! ;p
