Yup, you can still see the hammer up there in front of the judge,
but we've not only moved on to using screws, but the heads on
the screws are changing according to developing application.
If the judges can't see this, then somebody should take away
their hammer and give them a six piece screwdriver set.

Sorry for the crazy metaphor, but the whole point of case law
is not only does it give us pre-cut rulings, but it can be built on
or modified. This doesn't seem to be happening.
