WHy did Lawyers get involved with patents? It is simple ..... $$$$$$.
Dollars paid to them to write the patents.
Dollars paid to them to sue people infringing their client's patents.
Dollars paid to them to defend their clients against companies / individuals
suing their clients for alleged infringement.
It all comes down to lawyers developing a new revenue source and for some it is
very lucrative.

It's a variation on property law. Law means lawyers. [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
