Reminds me of the advice to throw away anything you haven't used for a year.
Some years around here, it doesn't snow at all. Now, whatever happened to that
snow shovel?

But as to computers, what do you do next tax season when you need Turbotax, or
whatever you might use in Canada?

I would suggest the complete opposite.

Just use what you prefer, but use Linux when you don't have a preference.
Pretty soon you'll be considering the Windows boot too much pain to bother with.
Also, remember that Linux doesn't need to reboot, pretty much ever.

Also, cold turkey never works. For anything.

I'm taking this one step at a time.

Going to see how little I can use Windows.

Only things I really need it for now is VS Studio C++ Express (Have to submit
school projects in this format).

Actually, I can do the projects in another IDE (like netbeans), and then just
import it.

Yeah, gonna do it :P.

I'll still keep Windows around just in case. Hopefully I'll end up forgetting
its there XD.
