None of this helps against patent trolls.

They put one patent per shell corporation, then trickle in just enough money to
fund the lawsuits. There is never enough money in at one time to make them
worth suing, and there may even be another shell corporation holding a
"senior note" on the patent rights.

This could be fixed by declaring such corporate shells to be inadequately funded
for their business purposes, but the courts have been reluctant to do so.
Perhaps because that determination is relative to the state they are
incorporated in.
