I doubt that will happen.
What I expect the report to cover is why MIT allowed individuals to act in a way
that didn't reflect the values, principles and goals of the most of the people
there. It should uncover if the failure was due to people trying to control
their empire rather than further the goals of MIT.
MIT isn't a for-profit corporation, run by a CEO and answerable only to
shareholders. Nor is it a public institution run for the benefit of the
retirement and pension fund. (Yes, that's a bit of a cut at some
universities.)
MIT is a chartered private institution.

The charter is to promote education, research, scholarship and service.
It's not a trade school, a business incubator, or contract corporate R&D.
Why do I point that out? There is a strong temptation for schools to become
