Neelie Kroes was, in her way, speaking out about the over-reach of the prosecutor.

I provided two U.S. examples of "an officer of the US government at any level" showing two individuals "speaking out" in their way:

    A Senator demanding answers from Ortiz superior.
and
    A retired U.S. Judge speaking out against the over-reach of prosecution.
All I did was point out that:
    Something comparable has been produced by an officer of the US government at some level.
I never did - in the slightest - as you put it:
    defend the body by cherry picking a few
So I don't know what you think I said, but you might want to review what I authored in the above context - the sole context of pointing out US Government officers speaking out against Ortiz much as Kroes did.
