It's quite telling to me that these words of
sensibility and reflection come from VP Neelie Kroes, of the European
government, and nothing comparable has been produced by any officer of the US
government at any level.
Bolding mine.
Neelie Kroes was,
in her way, speaking out about the over-reach of the prosecutor.
I
provided two U.S. examples of "an officer of the US government at any level"
showing two individuals "speaking out" in their way:
A Senator demanding
answers from Ortiz superior.
and
A retired U.S. Judge speaking out
against the over-reach of prosecution.
All I did was point out
that:
Something comparable has been produced by an officer of the US
government at some level.
I never did - in the slightest - as you put
it:
defend the body by cherry picking a few
So I don't know what you
think I said, but you might want to review what I authored in the above context
- the sole context of pointing out US Government officers speaking out against
Ortiz much as Kroes did.
