Microsoft Releases Windows Phone 7.8 SDK, but no update yet

Bug fixes, security patches, and the like.

IIRC, some of the contracts that Microsoft signed with developers, required the

developer to deliver the program for all versions on WinMo 7, and support their

app for either three or five years from the release date.
(These were contracts where ms essentially gave away the SDK , long with the
rest of the required software toolchain, and a large sum of cash, to get
developers to write apps for WinMo7.)
