Samsung is looking for proof of disclosure before the 28 June 2007 application date

Yes, Apple timed the application for the Japanese patent to be filed the day
before any sales. Outside the US, selling a product is public disclosure that
precludes then filing an application for a patent that it practices.

Unless their quarters do not align with calendar months, that would actually
have to be _two_ days, as June only has thirty days, not thirty-one. (29 and 30
only)
