Then they would have to get rid of every elected official at the Federal level.

Let's apply this to legislators. If you vote for a bill that is
unconstitutional on its face, then you can no longer participate in your office
until you pass a course on the constitution.

Of course, a major problem with that description is how is it determined with
finality that a particular bill is unconstitutional on its face.
