Religious Symbols on Public Land

I don't know about the rest of the country, but in Denver Colorado, religious
symbols on public lands seem to be alive and well.

Two particular locations:

1) In front of the City and County Building this time of year until after the
Stock Show.

2) Civic Center Park year 'round (display of "The Ten Commandments")

My understanding is those have both been vindicated by the courts but I sure
can't make head or tails out of the court's "logic".
