On the bright side, the plans do seem reasonably thorough...

The background illustration at the "mars-one.com" [sic, s/b
".org" due to non-profit status] has a glaring flaw. There are what
seems to be solar panels on the ground. If those objects are solar panels they
should be up on frames and tilted for maximum efficiency + ease of cleaning. The
power cables should be buried in trenches with RFID tagged horseshoe pegs as
markers.
