I have (more than once) referred to them here as the Beast of Redmond,
where the context was appropriate. There have been a few episodes
lately where the beast seems to be whimpering in a corner...

The Glaziers Union that I belong to (not) are really looking forward to more
broken windows. Just think of the children - mine especially!

Also please spare a thought for the Anti-Virus companies, they would be out of a
job if broken windows didn't equate to 'open' windows that allows all sorts of
malware to fly in.

Methinks that perhaps Microsoft's use of the word 'open' means the exact
opposite of the word 'open' in FOSS.
