A non-biased report from Dan Lyons?
Authored by: SilverWave on Friday, January 04 2013 @ 03:54 PM EST
Wow some explosive stuff in the article:

Quote:

'FairSearch also hired Patrick Lynch, the former attorney
general in Rhode Island, as a consultant — and then Lynch
began lobbying states to investigate Google and publishing
op-ed pieces in newspapers bashing Google for "abusing its
power," among other things.

Microsoft even hired Randall Long, a former FTC attorney who
had worked on investigations into Google during his time at
the commission. A watchdog group protested and called the
hire "suspicious."'

Hmm if this story gets some legs it could really hurt MS.

What a refreshing development! If the major news media pick this up, MS is in
REAL trouble. It's no longer just Groklaw and a handful complaining about the
conspiracy.

I wouldn't go that far
Authored by: Anonymous on Friday, January 04 2013 @ 04:03 PM EST

I read another article that came up with him as author here recently.

From what he authored, he's still same-ol' same-ol'.

I'm inclined to seriously research all the facts he presents to make sure they can be confirmed.

With that in mind:

What are the likely odds everything he has placed with regards MS is true?
I'd estimate 99.99% and I'm probably estimating low based on past Microsoft behavioral patterns.

Look at his recent articles

I was surprised too, but look at his recent articles such as:

Ano ther Apple Patent gets Smacked Down, and its "Thermonuclear War" becomes a Farce:

Best analysis of today's debacle comes (again) from Groklaw [...]
I say cut him some slack. He seems to have gotten a clue. Kudos to PJ and Groklaw.
