Basically:

You can't trust nature, nature produced Hemlock! Argue that all you want: you'll never change my opinion.

I trust the thousands of years of human built up knowledge surrounding the various plants in nature!

I do not trust the apparent lack of knowledge (in my humble opinion) relative to scientists playing around with something as base as genetics. When you get a thousand years of human built up knowledge around genetics: then we'll talk again and we can see if I should trust human scientists over nature.
