Heh, heh. A colleague, a genuinely sharp guy, had come to
believe that his Mac must be running Linux, just like his
Android tablet, since it ran so well.

I corrected him gently. :-)

But yes, the "it just runs" mystique that once belonged to
Apple is now adhering to Android/Linux.

That's big.

I found a link today suggesting that there was a new UI in the works, called Blue

Definitely not true for EMR

live on, but on Earth companies stopped caring about things
like that at least 10 years ago. Nowdays, if you work for a
large company and you can't use whatever software they stick
in front of you, they will just fire you and replace you
with someone else who can."

At my workplace, thousands of employees were put through 8-
10 hours of online tutorials followed by 32-40 hours of
mandatory classroom training for the rollout of a
comprehensive electronic medical record system.
