So the topic is CLS Bank v. Alice.

From the first line of the article:

"When, if ever, should software be patentable? That is the
question being argued before the Federal Circuit in an en
banc review of CLS Bank v. Alice Corporation."

In the case of a general purpose computer, the device has
already been built.

Adding software is no different than loading a DVD into a
DVD player.

No soldering irons required. Not even a screwdriver is
used.
