The physical mechanism that allows the computer to go
fast(er) may be (may have been) patentable.

Using a computer that can go fast, in a way that takes
advantage of a computer's ability to go fast, is like driving
a car at its full rated speed.

No new machine, no transformation, just using the device as
it was intended.

There is a difference, even if subtle

So what exactly is the difference? If I drive a coining press by having a human turn the drive motor, so that the press is now physically incapable of going faster, what exactly is the difference in the coining press that'd make it not infringing on any patents that may've applied to it?
