Under Mr. Cook, Apple is fracturing from the inside out.

Scary. That comment from an ex-Apple employee really caught my eye.

Corruption begins at the top...
Authored by: Gringo_ on Friday, December 21 2012 @ 08:42 AM EST

Employees are a reflection of their employers. What kind of executives hire people like the ones detailed in the article? Of course the article also exposes store managers, but who hired the store managers? Who hired the people who hired the people who hired the store managers? Then in the end, who hired the VPs of Sales who hired everyone below them?

We are aware of the concept of dysfunctional families. When the kids are screwed up, we need to look at the family as a whole, look at the parents. The behaviour of the children rarely emerges out of a vacuum.

The bad behaviour of Apple's employees is symptom of corporate corruption. Thermonuclear patent war is another.

Exclusive: Corrupt Apple Store Employees Come Forward Across America
Authored by: DannyB on Friday, December 21 2012 @ 09:13 AM EST
After reading that, and the earlier article it links to, all I can say to Apple
fanboys is: I hope you like paying high prices for Apple gear, now that you
know your money is going to employees who break and steal expensive toys.

The price of freedom is eternal litigation.

Apple iPhone sales numbers
Authored by: Anonymous on Friday, December 21 2012 @ 02:56 PM EST

Assuming the stories in the link have a reasonable accuracy for truth:

Makes you wonder what percentage of the iPhone sales the Apple Geniuses were responsible for!
In other words: How big - really - is Apple's piece of the smartphone market when the inflated values are removed?

Kind of makes one wonder. It sure would suck to be an Apple stock holder if the inflation was even 1%. 1% of 250 Million is 2.5 Million units deliberately destroyed.

Ouch!
