M$ seems to try to creat a legal offence such that the other
side will want to settle, i.e. M$ extorts money from smaller
fish.

On the other hand is Apple who seems to pick on any fish
regardless of size or type because they don't want them to
produce a better product even if they can.

But, their end goal is the same - eliminate the competition
such that they, either A$ or M$, don't have to try and work
to produce better products such that customers will actually
be free to choose for that reason.

Both A$ and M$ have become both corporate losers and
corporate abusers in the world of computer tech. Since
M$ has always been that way, I guess you are right in that
A$ is jealous of M$ and is trying to follow M$'s path to
irrelevence, and, I sincerely hope for both, on to chapters
11 then 7.
