I'm not dogmatically attached to my views.

I am not a gun-banner. I am gun-regulator. And I am liable
to change my views with enough data - I have changed them
before. But, I am not going to blindly follow pseudo-
research by advocacy groups.

Over the last 10 years, I came to the conclusion that there
is just too much romanticism of the Wild West, too much of a
gun culture and an abnormally high gun violence by western
standards. I think people ought to have the right to own
guns following responsible background checks, mental health
checks, waiting period, registration and training (it ought
to be at least harder than driving a car). I also think that
all the loopholes about no checks at gun shows and uneven enforcement across
states are harmful to every other state.
I also think that certain military style weapons have no
business being sold to private people - same goes for large
magazines, multiple magazines, armor piercing bullets, etc.

Until I see people hunting deer with an Uzi, Uzi has no
business being people's homes.
