But not making any NEW products just rehashing all your old products with
marginal updates every 6 months. Look at what innovative products apple has
released since 2010? pretty much nothing. And their response to their lack of
new ideas they are doing nothing but litigation which is starting to back fire
on them. I can understand defending your inventions but when clearly you haven't
been winning in court (cept court that is in your own back yard) its time to go
back to what got you to where you are, Sadly I don't see apple getting back to
innovation any time soon.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

No... endless court cases are corporately unresponsible, lawyers cost lots of
money. In fact I think it would probably be easier to argue that scaling back
and giving up on the less likely lawsuits and apeals (like this one) is more
corporately responsible then continuing for them for the 'expected' profit is
going to be lower then the lawyer costs, buisness relation costs, and public
relations costs. Obviously these aren't all hard numbers so they can pretty much
do anything they like (that is legal) and they that they thought it was the
right thing to do for their shareholders[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
